VR Forged was created to bring high quality, uniquely designed wheels to the market. Our focus is simple… Look awesome, be instock, and offer these wheels at a price that disrupts the wheel industry. But where did this all begin?
VR Forged is part of the Vivid Racing family. Having been in business since 2001, the owners are completely aware of what customers want while staying on top of the latest trends. But this isn’t just another rebranded wheel or an attempt to get in on the hottest product market.
Before VR Forged, the owners created 2 different wheel lines through their sister company Agency Power. Back in 2005, Agency Power had a 1pc 18 inch cast wheel for the very popular Subaru WRX STI and Mitsubishi EVO market. The design and colorways were extremely popular for those markets at the time. Selling through hundreds of wheels, the owners had a great concept, but supply was tough and working with overseas vendors was not as easy as it is now.
In 2007, the owners created a unique way to offer wheels specific for vehicle platforms. They worked with one of the leading forged wheel manufactures to create this Porsche specific wheel for the 996 Turbo and 997 Turbo which was an extremely hot market at the time. The wheel style emulated the exclusive Porsche GT2RS that had just been released. The goal was to have an extremely lightweight wheel that helped propel these amazing cars to records on the circuit, drag strip, and be stylish on the street. Available in a limited run in 2 colors, the second generation of their wheel line was born.
Fast forward to 2021. Vivid Racing is one of the most recognized online performance product suppliers. With the creation of a VR product line, wheels were a must when looking at what products to manufacture. A large part of Vivid Racing’s business is selling wheels. VR has taken its extensive history of supplying some of the hottest vehicles with the best fitments possible to help design our line of wheel. Partnering with leading manufactures, VR Forged has been born!
VR Forged focus is to have 1pc Forged wheels ready to ship in a box for specific vehicles. The days of waiting 6-8 weeks for a set of wheels are long gone along with the $8,000 price tag some may charge. However if we do not have a specific fitment, color, or style you like, we do have a Bespoke program. In addition to the 1pc Forged wheels, we also offer 2pc and 3pc wheels as well as carbon fiber wheel that uses a CNC machined forged center.
